PUT YEARS OF STUDY INTO PRACTICE SOONER.

Your doctorate degree is the result of many years of study and hard work. The U.S. Army offers unique post-graduate programs designed to help you quickly gain the skills and experience you need to become a leader in your field.

ACTIVE DENTAL CORPS PROGRAM

ARMY ADVANCED EDUCATION IN GENERAL DENTISTRY 12-MONTH PROGRAM

Elevate your dental career and receive hands-on training to perform some of the most sophisticated dental procedures, including oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, pedodontics, and pediodontics. This one-year training program is open to graduating senior dental students and recent graduates on a case-by-case basis.

RESERVE DENTAL CORPS PROGRAMS

SPECIALIZED TRAINING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (STRAP)

This assistance program is designed for oral surgeons, prosthodontic and comprehensive dentistry residents currently enrolled in accredited residency programs. You'll receive a monthly stipend of more than $1,900. Once you have finished the program, you'll train as part of an Army Reserve unit and serve when needed.

Active Medical Corps Programs

GRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION (GME) PROGRAMS

Pursue one of 78 different medical residencies or 43 fellowships in the largest graduate medical educational program found in the military. Our comprehensive Graduate Medical Education Program offers subspecialties within the fields of internal medicine, surgery, neurology, pediatrics and psychiatry, as well as programs in aerospace medicine, dermatology, emergency medicine and pathology, to name a few.

During your training, you'll gain hands-on experience that prepares you for your specialty boards. All programs are fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and administered by Graduate Medical Education.

RESERVE MEDICAL CORPS PROGRAMS

This assistance program is designed for physicians currently enrolled in accredited residency programs. You'll receive a monthly stipend of more than $1,900. Once you have finished the program, you'll train as part of an Army Reserve unit and serve when needed.

ACTIVE MEDICAL SERVICE CORPS PROGRAMS

AUDIOLOGY EXTERNSHIP PROGRAM

During this one-year clinical externship, you'll train at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, N.C. This program is open to students who have completed all academic coursework for a clinical doctorate in audiology.


CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (CPIP)

Gain important experience while working at a military medical facility. This program is open to clinical psychology students who have completed all coursework toward a doctorate in psychology.


PODIATRIC SURGICAL RESIDENCY

During this 36-month residency, you'll gain hands-on experience and receive specialized training. This program is open to applicants with a doctor of podiatric medicine.
